


"I am pleased with the solid progress on the construction of a new stadium for the Atlanta Falcons in the heart of our city," said mayor Reed at a press conference, according to Atlanta-based Fox affiliate, WAGA-TV. Now that a deal has been reached, the city and the Atlanta Falcons are partially on track to proceed with their proposed $1 billion high-tech, retractable roof stadium.
